Pattaya Music Festival

Music is always an important part of Pattaya nightlife where there are many different bars and clubs, some with live bands others with DJs, each with its own unique theme and matching music. But the music is never better than during the Pattaya Music Festival. Day and night, indoors or outdoors, you can dance to hip-hop, pop, rock, jazz or easy listening at any of the many bars, cabarets or shows.

The Annual Chon Buri Red Cross Fair is held about mid-April. There is a Phra Phutthasihing Procession. Also organized are cultural shows, exhibitons and stalls offering various types of products.

The Buffalo Day is a long-established celebration of this most useful animal of Thai farmers. A fun-filled event, it is held not only in Chon Buri itself but also in Ban Bung and Nong Yai districts. The beasts of burden are dressed outragerously or with admirable creativity by owners depending on their imagination. Assembled in the courtyard in front of the townhall, the buffaloes partake in racing, or take part in physical fitness and “fashion” contests.
